30 in 30 Day 7

Daisy Hand

This is my variation of the tradition of drawing on hands called Henna.
In Israel, Mizrahi and Sephardic Jewish women sometimes choose to have a hennah party about a week before the wedding.

Nice one Carol. Very interesting to know that this culture is present in Israel. Henna is a big tradition in Indian weddings as well and Indian women put them on their palms and all the way up to the elbows and also on their feet.

Thanks Bhavani. Yes the tradition is also being adopted by many and not just the Sephardic community.
