22 x 25
Oil on gessoed cardboard
This small painting was also done ahead of time because of the 2 days I go to my daughter.. I am not gone 2 days... but the time cuts into 2 days... Have to be one step ahead.... that is part of my personal challenge...
Dried weeds in a bottle!!The background for this started with the palette knife but it was much too busy so I smoothed over with the knife,,, but then blotched with a paper towel ,,, liked the texture... Scratched in the drawing of some dried weeds and painted with the knife...

Quite wonderful! I'm really excited to see this body of work you are doing. This is so awesome....are you sure you want to keep painting them on cardboard? I know it is probably giving you a certain sense of freedom to work that way, but some of these I am quite certain are keepers!! OK with you if I PIN it to my Pinterest? I don't see a Pin It button here, but I can use the one on my browser if you're ok with it...
Thanks Meredith... yes the feeling of freedom is a big factor.... I have a few more panels that I cut from the original board which I will definitely finish.... I have however ordered 10 small wrapped canvases,,,30 x 30 a little less than 12" x 12" they are on sale price... you can "pin" what ever you want...still haven't been able to put that button on the blog.... :(
Thanks, pinned it! I forgot all about Pinterest for awhile. In September/October I really had a blast with it. Past few weeks, completely forgot about it. I really love this piece...so I think it reminded me of Pinterest again...
