What Ever is on Hand

This week at workshop we celebrated Tu B Shevat. which is "The New Year of the Trees". Neomi brought a cake which she described as what I had on hand, a little bit of this and that. It was delicious!

That description certainly fits this piece I am working on.  I found this board that I had pasted pieces of newspaper collage. I couldn't remember what lesson or why I did it, thought it would be great for some of those leftover paints that I hate to throw away. Already has about 3 or more layers and I am not counting!

Let's Test my Tablet

My studio is topsy turvey! So tablet please behave!

I am taking an online course with Joan Fullerton where we work intuitively using prompts and turning the work 90 degrees each time we put a new layer. Sometimes 10-15 promts. After we can edit or leave it. Love the process can't wait to continue.

Have No Idea How I Got There

Maybe it's a good idea to come back to a painting and look at it with a different eye. How did this come about? Not my usual palette although I am trying to implement some brights in my work.
