Charcoal Sketches
Portraiture has always been one of my favorite subjects. Mainly I would love to capture the personality and character as well as the likeness. Here are a few charcoal sketches of three of my grand-kids. I rate them as 8+ in likeness... Lior, top right and middle, Amir bottom left, and Mor bottom right.

WDE Entries for March 8th
Trying to get back to painting and blogging. Seems sometimes --real life-- gets in the way and I tend to get stressed rather easily and its difficult to get that first PUSH out. I have continued my weekly workshops, a special island for me with a great group of really supportive friends.
This is from WDE that I did from March 8th hosted by Oty.. Wonderful images from her homeland Romania.. Many from the town where Dracula was born... I visited this town and took lots of pictures and also did a painting from one.
I chose the pigeon and sunflower. Both done on corrugated cardboard that I coated with gesso.
Size: 27 x 34 cm
Pigeon done with neocolor I wax crayons with added medium- monochromatic
